Increase Your Credit-ability By Pre-Ordering Madden NFL 11

Well, seeing as how today is such a special day for football fans, it seems only right to present a deal for the current king of console gridiron - the John Madden NFL series. Personally, I'm a 2k man, but since that series has gone the way of the dodo, I present a special deal to entice the Madden community. Both Amazon and Wal-Mart are having deals concerning the newest iteration of the title.

Amazon proudly proclaims, "Get a $20 Video Games Credit: Pre-order Madden NFL 11, forWii, PS2, or Xbox 360, and get $20 off a future video game purchase. The promotional code will be placed directly into your Amazon.com account within 2 business days after the product ships. Offer valid when shipped and sold by Amazon.com. Promotion valid on all existing pre-orders. Limit one per household. Amazon reserves the right to change or terminate this promotion at any time."

Wal-Mart offers the same for it's consumers, giving a "Bonus $20 Walmart.com eGift Card" for the pre-order. Wal-Mart also mentions that this eGift Card can only be used for purchases online, and of course, limit one per household.

Madden NFL 11 rushes the field, like a turduken through your digestive system, on August 10, 2010.

Joystick Sheds Some Light In The Void
Dark Void
click to read the review

Well, once again, Joystick amazes me. This guy works two full time jobs, 80 hours a week. And yet, he still manages to find time to play video games and write reviews. I wonder sometimes if he's not putting down the Red Bull and stealing some of n1njr and The Client's Jolt Cola (note from n1njr: Yeah! That's it! That's exactly where most of our Jolt goes)

Excerpt from the review:
When it comes to English voice acting I think that the biggest breakthrough we have achieved is in the form of Nolan North. Nolan North, for those of you who are either too dumb to know, or have been hiding under a pile of crushing rocks, is the voice of Nathan Drake of Uncharted. He is an amazing voice actor, and when I found out that he would be playing in Dark Void I was all for buying it. Voice actors like him make video games worth playing.

Now that Joystick has shined a light into the void read the review and see if you agree with him.

Lego Nazis Kidnap WrathChild, Indiana Jones To The Rescue
Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues
click to read the review

WrathChild has been M.I.A. for a freakin month and we've been wondering what the deal is. Well now we know, she was abducted by Nazis and was waiting for Indiana Jones to rescue her from Lego Land!! It's nice to see her back from her "vacation," maybe now, we'll get some reviews done!

Excerpt from the review:
This game is really quite entertaining! The player is not overrun by the storyline and the cut-away scenes are humorous and play towards a childish nature. I'm sure any kid would have a lot of fun with this game, I'm also sure any adult could too. I mean, come on, if you can't have fun running around as a Lego dude with a whip then you have no soul!

Knowing how life is for Indy, you should probably read WrathChild's review before he gets wrapped up in finding Bigfoot or something.

Project Zen Now Causes Headaches
Project Zen Now Causes Headaches

I'm going to tell everyone something that I don't mention on the site. I work 80 hours a week, not including what I do at GamersRevenge (Sucks, but hey it pays the bills). That being said: I rarely get time off. One year I had 2 days off in the whole 365 (no joke).

You can imagine how valuable my time is to me. We have been gearing up to interview a new and upcoming developer, Project Zen. The interview, which was scheduled over a month ago, was to take place yesterday, so I took time off work. I took vacation time even, to interview them. They never showed up. Professional courtesy is a matter of great importance to us here at GamersRevenge, and we feel that it needs to be a bigger priority to others too.

We understand that difficulties occur, but when a hard date is set and people put their lives on hold, DON'T JUST NOT SHOW! I wish them well, but if they make games like they make plans for interviews, none of their games will ever make it to the shelves.
